Meet Our February Keynote Speaker: Colin Jones

 President BCIT Faculty and Staff Association (FSA)

For over three decades, Colin has navigated the complexities of leadership, negotiation, and advocacy at one of BC’s premier polytechnic institutions. As the President of the BCIT FSA and a member of the Board of Governors, Colin has dedicated his career to fostering equity and building strong professional communities. His journey from IT Services to Chief Negotiator reflects a lifelong commitment to service and integrity.

When he isn’t at the bargaining table, Colin is co-leading at the Church of Zion, where he and his wife, Rebecca, serve as Executive Pastors. Colin’s leadership is defined by the balance of his high-level professional expertise and his heart for ministry.
